Patrick rericha - Phd Student

After completing his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at the IMC University of Applied Sciences, Krems, Austria, Patrick was selected for the Wellcome / MRC Four-Year (1+3) PhD Programme in Stem Cell Biology & Medicine. During year one, he did a rotation in Sanjay's lab as part of the cardiac regeneration team. There, he developed a curiosity for cardiac repair and set off to unravelling paracrine communication between cardiomyocytes and epicardial cells in his PhD project. In his free time Patrick enjoys, martial arts, American football, and riding his motorbike.
