Laraine Crossland, Lab technician

Laraine gained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Sussex before going to work at Oxford University in the department of anatomy and neurobiology. She transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University in the USA in 1998 to work on growth factor enhanced retroviral gene transfer to the adult central nervous system.

On returning to the UK, Laraine worked at Roche Discovery and GSK, Stevenage before taking up a position at The Babraham Institute in 2015 working in the signalling department. She worked for the Sinha group from 2021 to 2022
