Chuheng Qing, Phd Student

Chuheng gained his Bachelor’s degree in life sciences at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. During his undergraduate studies, Chuheng studied the mechanism of contractile vacuole discharge in Dicyostelium Amoebae.

In 2021, Chuheng was admitted into the Wellcome four-year PhD programme and was a rotation student in the Sinha group in 2022. Under the supervision of Prof Sanjay Sinha and Dr Maria Colzani, he is worked on an injectable shape-memory patch to deliver epicardial cells onto the heart.
