Álex Pascual Cid, MsC Student

Álex is a Spanish biotechnologist that found his passion in cardiac regenerative medicine. 

 He is currently studying the EU-promoted MSc in Innovative Medicine, a two-year master of excellence programme at the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) and Uppsala University (Sweden). 

 During his final full year, he has had the privilege of joining the Sinha lab to pursue his master's thesis. His research, under the supervision of Dr. Maria Köhne, aims to investigate vascularisation mechanisms and their enhancement for cardiac patch development.

 In his spare time, Álex enjoys doing sports, such as strength training, spending time with friends and family, filming video blogs and listening to podcasts. In addition, Álex loves to support the Association of Biotechnologists of Navarra, which he founded to promote the biotech sector in northern Spain.
