Madeline McNamara

Madeline conducted her PhD research in the Sinha lab from 2014-2018. She supported Dr
Alessandra Granata in characterising the in vitro Marfan Disease SMC iPSC-derived disease model and established a relationship with AstraZeneca’s Research & Innovation program to design a high-throughout drug screen and identify potential disease regulators. Madeline organised the 2015 Sinha Lab Retreat in Barcelona, which remains a classic dinner party anecdote. Madeline is now training as a consultant in healthcare and life sciences, living in Vienna and is tentatively learning German to become trilingual.
