Linda Yang

Linda was a research student with the Sinha lab in 2009-2010, undertaking the research component of her medical degree at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Her research project was titled "Derivation of a Bipotential Myocardial and Vascular Smooth Muscle Cell
Progenitor from Human Embryonic Stem Cells" and its findings were presented at the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand Annual Scientific Meeting. Linda has since completed her medical training and is working as a gastroenterologist in Melbourne, Australia. She is undertaking an advanced interventional endoscopy fellowship and a PhD in "quality of endoscopy". She is planning to continue further training with a post-doctoral fellowship in the UK, after having had such a fabulous time in Cambridge with the Sinha lab!
